Due to Russian shelling, consumers in five regions remain without power
Due to Russian shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions are temporarily without power. The Ministry of Energy reported this as of the morning of August 6.
According to the ministry, an energy worker was injured in Donetsk Oblast as a result of an attack on an energy facility. He was hospitalized, and medical personnel are providing the necessary care.
The Ministry of Energy noted that emergency repair work is ongoing in all areas where the security situation permits. Power workers are working to restore electricity as quickly as possible.
At the same time, the ministry reported that, as of August 6, there are no plans to implement power rationing schedules.
Ukrainians were also urged to conserve electricity as much as possible over the next 24 hours to reduce the load on the power grid.

As a reminder, in the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol in Donetsk Oblast, power and water outages occurred following explosions on August 5 and during the night of August 5–6.
During a massive Russian attack on the night of August 5, the warehouse facilities of Bosch Ukraine’s logistics partner were completely destroyed.
