Two people were killed as a result of Russian shelling in the Donetsk and Kherson regions
On June 6, Russian occupation forces carried out heavy shelling of populated areas in the Kherson and Donetsk regions, resulting in the deaths of two civilians.
Nineteen more civilians in both regions sustained injuries of varying severity.
The invaders deliberately targeted residential neighborhoods and critical infrastructure, destroying homes and utilities.
In the Donetsk region, large cities near the front lines came under enemy fire. According to official information from the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Russian forces killed two residents of the Donetsk region: in Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka.
Law enforcement and rescue workers quickly assessed the damage caused by artillery and rocket strikes on residential areas.
In addition to the fatalities, a large number of injured people requiring urgent medical attention were reported in the region.
“Another five people in the region were wounded over the past 24 hours—three in Druzhkivka and two in Kramatorsk,” representatives of the regional military administration reported.
All affected civilians are currently receiving the necessary medical and psychological support in medical facilities.
In the Kherson region, the situation also remains consistently dire due to the constant activity of the occupiers’ artillery and aviation.
Russian forces have targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas in the region’s towns and villages, damaging 8 high-rise buildings and 15 private homes.
The scale of destruction in the region’s civilian sector continues to grow rapidly every day.
