Russian troops launched a massive strike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region for the third time in less than a day. As a result of the attack with guided bombs, 16 people were injured, including a child.
According to rescue workers, Russian aircraft dropped three bombs on the city center. One of them failed to detonate; it was recovered by bomb disposal experts and will be destroyed in accordance with established procedures.
The shelling partially destroyed a five-story residential building and a two-story office building. Rescue workers pulled three injured people from the rubble and evacuated two more from the third floor, including a woman with limited mobility.
In addition, 16 apartment buildings and commercial facilities were damaged. During the emergency rescue operations, emergency responders cleared 23 metric tons of construction debris.
The explosions also caused two fires—a passenger car and a two-story building caught fire. The fires have already been extinguished.

As a reminder, on the morning of July 24, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. Five people were killed in the attack, and nine others were injured. Residential buildings, a business, and the premises of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia were also damaged.
