Russian forces have carried out yet another act of aggression against the civilian population of the Poltava region, striking residential and industrial facilities.

The State Emergency Service (SES) reported on the tragic consequences of the shelling, noting extensive destruction in the region.

Two people were killed as a result of the enemy shelling, and seven others sustained injuries of varying severity.

Among those affected by the terrorist attack is a child who is currently receiving necessary medical care.

Significant damage to civilian infrastructure has been recorded in the city of Poltava itself, as well as within the Poltava district. In particular, residential buildings, a local hotel, and several industrial facilities were hit.

Intense fires broke out at the sites where enemy shells struck, but firefighters were able to quickly extinguish them. Rescue teams continue to clear debris and address all the consequences of the shelling.

Psychologists from the State Emergency Service are working directly at the sites of the tragedy, providing emergency support to people who have lost their homes or witnessed the attack.

Specialists are helping victims cope with the shock at this critical moment.

As a reminder, Russian troops carried out another combined attack on Ukraine, using strike drones and cruise missiles.

Russia also carried out a massive attack on the Odesa region, with one drone striking a bus stop.
