The Russians have carried out 41 attacks on the front line since the start of the day

Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 41 times.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk direction, where 17 assaults have been recorded in the areas of Rodynske, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, and Kotlyne. Some of the battles are still ongoing as of today.

In the Kostyantynivka sector, the occupiers carried out eight attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

Active combat operations are also taking place in the Huliaipole direction, where Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks in the areas of Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Staroukrainka, Zarichne, and Tsvitkove. One battle is ongoing.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the Russians carried out 46 shelling attacks, including the use of multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Kramatorsk sector, two attacks were recorded; in the Kupiansk sector, one attempt to improve their tactical position; and in the Southern Slobozhansky sector, two attacks in the areas of Symynivka and Starytsia.

In the Dnipro direction, the enemy carried out three unsuccessful assaults toward the Antonivsky Bridge and Bilohrudy Island.

Russian aircraft struck the areas of Pidhavrylivka, Velykomykhailivka, and Pokrovsk, as well as a number of settlements in the Zaporizhzhia sector.

In addition, border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions came under artillery fire.

No significant changes in the situation were recorded on other sections of the front.

On the front lines, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers eliminated Yuriy Hrytsenko, known as the “Zelenograd maniac.” After serving his sentence, he joined the war against Ukraine.

On April 14, Russian troops struck the Pechenizke Reservoir in the Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs.
