The death toll in Dnipro following the Russian attack has risen to 5

In Dnipro, the death toll from the Russian attack on the night of April 16 has risen to five.

This was reported by Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Hanzha and Mayor Boris Filatov.

According to Ganza, a 48-year-old man who had suffered severe injuries died in the hospital.

“The doctors fought until the very end. Unfortunately, they were unable to save him…,” he said.

Later, Filatov reported another casualty.

“We just found another body. The fourth victim. Another person died in the hospital. Thus, as of 4:15 p.m., a total of five people have died,” the mayor stated.

Starting in the evening of April 14, Russian occupiers launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, using three Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 324 drones of various types. Air defense forces neutralized most of the targets, but some hits were recorded.

In the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv, law enforcement officers discovered the warhead of a Russian Iskander-K missile. A controlled destruction of the munition is planned at the site.

On the night of April 15, three people were injured in Dnipro and the surrounding region as a result of Russian drone strikes, and damage to civilian infrastructure was reported.
