Gazprom reported new drone attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on compressor stations

According to Gazprom, between March 17 and 19, Ukrainian drones attacked compressor stations in the Kuban region that supply gas via the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream pipelines.

This is reported by Russian propaganda media.

According to the company, 22 drones attempted to strike the Russkaya station, three more drones attacked the Kazachya station, and the Beregovaya station was attacked by a single drone.

“Through joint efforts by the Russian Ministry of Defense and mobile operational groups, the attacks were repelled, and no damage was caused to Gazprom facilities,” the company reported.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov noted that Ukraine’s actions pose a threat to critical infrastructure.

Naftogaz has finallywon a court case against Gazprom for over $1.4 billion.

As a reminder, Russian gas monopoly Gazprom recorded a net loss of 1.076 trillion rubles in 2024. That is $12.89 billion.

Gazprom’s Board of Directors decided not to pay dividends from the 2024 profits.
