General Staff: 180 combat engagements took place on the front lines, including 21 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction
Since the start of the day on July 27, there have been 180 combat engagements along the front lines. In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces—those of the aggressor state—launched 21 attacks, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, the enemy fired on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas 66 times, including twice using multiple launch rocket systems. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Russian troops stormed the positions of the Defense Forces six times in the direction of Kozacha Lopana, Petro-Ivanivka, Aniskine, Ivashkine, and Symynivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, three attacks took place in the direction of Bohuslavka, Kupiansk, and Petropavlivka. In the Lyman sector, the Defense Forces repelled 12 enemy attempts to advance toward Drobysheve, Ozernoye, Stavok, Lyman, and in the Novoselivka area. In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces halted 19 offensive attempts in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Riznykivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Piskunivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces carried out three attacks toward Malynivka and in the Pryvillia area. In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 22 assaults in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopil, and toward Stepanivka, Toretsk, Vilne, and Novyi Shakhovyi. One engagement in this sector was ongoing at the time of this report.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted to advance in the areas of Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, and toward Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novy Donbas, and Serhiivka. According to preliminary estimates by the General Staff, 27 Russian soldiers were killed here on July 27, and another 15 were wounded. One artillery system, 25 personnel shelters, six vehicles, and two pieces of specialized enemy equipment were also destroyed; 12 artillery systems, four vehicles, and 131 shelters were damaged. A total of 296 drones of various types were destroyed or neutralized.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched two attacks toward Oleksandrohrad and in the Solodke area. In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled 10 attacks toward Vozdvizhivka, Kosivtseve, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne; one engagement was ongoing there. In the Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors, Russian troops did not conduct any offensive operations.
