General Staff: 262 combat engagements took place on the front lines over the past 24 hours
Over the past day, 262 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines. Russian troops carried out 81 airstrikes, dropped 280 guided bombs, deployed 10,368 kamikaze drones, and fired 2,839 rounds at Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
In addition, Russian occupiers used multiple-launch rocket systems 38 times.
Meanwhile, over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force, missile forces, and artillery struck three command posts, three areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, a drone command post, an artillery system, and two key Russian military facilities.
Russian forces shelled populated areas in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
The following areas came under fire: Bachivsk, Korenok, Rohizne, Tovstodubove, Hirky, Yastrubshchyna, Gavrilova Sloboda, Malushyne, Neskuchne, Volfyne, Luzhky, Studenok, and Pustogorod in Sumy Oblast, as well as Mykhalchyna Sloboda in Chernihiv Oblast.
Over the past day, two assault operations were recorded in this sector. In addition, the enemy carried out 66 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, delivering two airstrikes using three guided aerial bombs.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of Lyman, Kozacha Lopana, Obukhivka, Starytsia, and Volokhivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces launched eight assaults on Ukrainian positions, attempting to improve their tactical position in the areas of Radkivka, Tyshchenkivka, Monachynivka, and Kivsharivka.

On the Lyman front, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled enemy attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses. In total, the occupiers launched eight attacks in the direction of Novoyegorivka, Novoselivka, Drobyshove, Lyman, and Yampil.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian troops carried out eight assault operations in the areas of Ozerny, Kryva Luka, and Mykolaivka.

Meanwhile, no enemy assaults were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 29 attacks were recorded. Russian troops carried out assaults near Kostiantynivka and in the direction of Novoselivka, Illinivka, Dovha Balka, Rusyn Yar, Toretsk, Vilne, and Stepy.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy carried out 26 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance toward Novyi Donbas, Hannivka, Bilytske, Dobropillia, Svitlyi, Matyashiv, Serhiivka, Udachne, Molodetske, and Novopidhorodne.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian troops attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders nine times. The invaders attempted to advance in the areas of Rizdvyanka, Dobropillia, Verkhnia Tersa, Zaliznychne, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attempted twice to improve its positions by launching attacks toward Shcherbakiv and Stepnogorsk.

Overall, Ukrainian forces continue to repel the Russian troops’ offensive operations and inflict losses on the enemy across all sectors of the front.

On September 15, Ukrainian forces eliminated approximately 1,400 Russian occupiers over the past 24 hours. These new enemy losses have updated the overall casualty figures for Russian personnel.
Earlier, Russia attacked Izyum with KAB missiles; among the casualties was a two-month-old infant.
On September 10, in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynsky District, a drone crashed in an open area in a forest near a shopping center. According to preliminary reports, there was no fire and no casualties.
In the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv, an enemy drone struck the roof of a four-story business center. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene to investigate the circumstances and address the aftermath of the incident.
