The General Staff has released updated figures on Russian casualties as of June 1
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have eliminated 1,410 Russian occupiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which updated its figures on enemy losses as of June 1, 2026.
As of June 1, Russia has lost the following in the war against Ukraine:
- personnel – approximately 1,365,060 (+1,410) individuals;
- tanks – 11,966 (+4);
- armored combat vehicles – 24,659 (+2);
- artillery systems – 43,037 (+50);
- MLRS – 1,820 (+1) units;
- air defense systems – 1,399 (+0);
- aircraft – 436 (+0);
- helicopters – 353 (+0) units;
- ground-based robotic systems – 1,528 (+9) units;
- tactical-level UAVs – 322,179 (+1,852) units;
- cruise missiles – 4,693 (+0) units;
- ships/boats – 33 (+0);
- submarines – 2 (+0) units;
- Vehicles and tankers – 101,621 (+384) units;
- special equipment – 4,234 (+3) units

In the southern sector, Russian troops gradually increased the intensity of combat operations over the course of the week, attempting to fulfill their command’s objectives. The most tense situation is currently being observed in the Huliaipole sector.
