The General Staff confirmed that a Chornomornaftogaz facility in occupied Crimea had been struck
On the night of July 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes against strategic targets of Russian forces in the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
In particular, the Ukrainian military struck a Chornomornaftogaz facility near Vnukove in occupied Crimea. The General Staff noted that since seizing the peninsula, Russia has been using the company’s assets to extract, store, and transport gas and petroleum products, as well as to meet the fuel and energy needs of the occupying forces.
In addition, the Defense Forces attacked a ground-based relay station used to control “Geran” and “Gerbera” strike drones in the Chornomorsk area on the peninsula.
According to the General Staff, such relay stations allow Russian troops to increase the range and stability of control over attack drones used to carry out strikes on Ukrainian territory.
The Ukrainian military also struck a road bridge near Vyselky in the Donetsk region, which the Russians were using for military logistics.
In addition, an enemy drone depot in the Chervonopopivka area and a concentration of Russian troops in Purdivka, Luhansk Oblast, were struck.
The General Staff also reported confirmation of the results of previous strikes. In particular, Ukrainian forces struck the Tyumen Oil Refinery in Russia.
The military emphasized that the facility is one of the key sites in the oil refining industry of Western Siberia. The refinery has a capacity of approximately 7 million metric tons of crude oil per year, and its products are used, in particular, to meet the needs of the Russian military-industrial complex and the Russian Armed Forces.
