The General Staff confirmed significant damage to the Russian Federation's Space Communications Center
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the results of the strikes on the “Vladimir” Space Communications Center near Gus-Khrustalny and the Orenburg Gas Processing Plant.
According to military officials, following the strike on the Space Communications Center, which took place on the night of June 22, the main 25-meter parabolic antenna, the antenna on the roof of the main hardware and software complex, and the central part of the building—which housed the satellite modem rooms, multiplexers, and the central switching node—were critically damaged.
The Hardware and Technical Building No. 1 also sustained critical damage; it housed the transmission and reception complexes, the central switching station for the antenna posts’ cable routes, and equipment for cooling transmitters and electronics.
In addition, following the June 24 strike on the Orenburg Gas Processing Plant, damage to four gas processing units was confirmed. As a result, production at the facility has been suspended.
