Map of Hostilities in Ukraine as of July 23: 261 clashes occurred over the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, 261 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines. Ukrainian defense forces continue to repel the Russian offensive, inflicting significant losses on the enemy and preventing it from advancing deeper into the country’s territory.
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes, fired three missiles, and carried out 78 airstrikes, dropping 267 guided bombs. In addition, it deployed 9,923 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,085 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops, including 48 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation struck six areas where Russian invaders had concentrated their forces and two other key targets.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions over the past day, the aggressor carried out two airstrikes, dropped eight aerial bombs, and fired 53 rounds at our troops’ positions and populated areas, including one using a multiple launch rocket system. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 11 times in the area of Fyholivka and toward the settlements of Ternova, Prylipka, Hrafske, Kutkivka, and Malyi Burluk.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched one attack toward Kupiansk. In the Lyman sector, the enemy attempted to breach our defenses 15 times, attacking in the areas of Novomykhailivka, Novoselivka, and toward Lyman, Drobyshove, Stavky, and Ozerny.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy launched 25 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kryva Luka and Riznykivka, as well as toward Piskunivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian invaders carried out five attacks in the area of Nikiforivka and toward Vasyutynske and Yurkivka. In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 25 attacks in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Rusyn Yar, as well as toward the settlement of Dovha Balka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders repelled 42 assaults by the aggressor in the areas around the settlements of Sofiivka, Toretsk, Shakhove, Nikanorivka, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Filiya, and toward the settlements of Vilne, Kucheriiv Yar, Nove Shakove, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Myrne, Svitle, Shevchenko, and Serhiivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy carried out four attacks in the areas of Ternove and Kalynivske. In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 13 attacks toward Vozdvizhivka, Dobropillia, Staroukrainka, Hirkyi, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders repelled five enemy attempts to advance in the areas around the settlements of Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky, Shcherbaky, and toward Pavlivka. In the Dnipro sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations over the past day. In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue to systematically destroy enemy forces and are putting up effective resistance across all sectors of the front.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1,460 casualties over the past day. Additionally, 28 tanks, 12 armored fighting vehicles, 78 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, 3 missiles, 13 ground-based robotic systems, 1,688 unmanned aerial vehicles, 541 enemy vehicles, and three units of special equipment.
