“Khartia” holds back sabotage attempts on the Kharkiv axis
On the Kharkiv axis, the enemy is trying to step up its activity and strengthen its presence on the front line.
This was stated by the chief of staff of the rapid response battalion of the 13th National Guard Brigade “Khartia,” callsign Mel.
According to him, Russian forces are constantly moving, maneuvering, and attempting to bring new personnel units closer to the line of contact.
The main goal of these actions is to prepare and carry out sabotage operations against Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
The officer stressed that the situation in the unit’s area of responsibility remains “stably dynamic” — the situation is changing, but it is under the control of the Defence Forces.
Khartia’s units maintain constant surveillance of enemy movements, track attempts to regroup, and respond to threats in a timely manner.
According to Mel, Ukrainian soldiers do not allow enemy sabotage groups to approach the front line and try to detect them already on the approaches.
He noted that personnel had been prepared for changing weather conditions in advance — since summer. The troops were provided with the necessary equipment and conditions to minimize the risks of hypothermia and reduced combat capability due to frost, wind, and precipitation.
This approach allowed the unit to maintain readiness to carry out combat missions even in difficult winter conditions.
