The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Unit carried out a series of highly successful nighttime operations, delivering devastating strikes against military facilities belonging to the Russian occupation forces. For two nights in a row, Ukrainian combat drones launched massive attacks on the invaders’ logistics hubs, bases, and positions both in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories and directly on the aggressor country’s territory. 

This was reported by Commander Robert Brovdi, call sign “Madyar.” He released extensive video evidence of the effective combat operations carried out by his subordinate units.

 

 

The geography of the precision strikes covered the occupied areas of the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as strategic targets on the Crimean Peninsula and in several Russian regions. 

The following targets were struck:

  • a Project 10410 border patrol ship in Kaspiysk (Dagestan, Russian Federation);
  • a "Tor-M2" anti-aircraft missile system belonging to Russian invaders in western Luhansk Oblast;
  • a strategic secure communications hub of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the temporarily occupied Mirny (Crimea);
  • an invaders’ train carrying fuel and lubricants in Fedorivka, Donetsk Oblast;
  • port cranes in Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast;
  • a meeting of the command staff of the 2nd Engineer Battalion of the Russian Federation’s 91st Engineer Regiment in Shakhtarsk, Donetsk Oblast;
  • the command post of the 9th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation’s 51st Combined Arms Army in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast;
  • an enemy drone control center and logistics depot in Selidovo, Donetsk Oblast;
  • the command post of the 103rd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian Federation’s 8th Combined Arms Army in Bunge, Donetsk Oblast;
  • telecommunications towers in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On the night of May 17, a number of Russian military-industrial complex and energy facilities were struck in Moscow and the Moscow region. Strikes were carried out on an oil depot in Durikino, an oil refinery in Kapotnya, the Angstrom microelectronics plant, and the Raduga Design Bureau, which develops cruise missiles.

The Russian Ministry of Defense released the latest statistics on the interception of airstrikes, claiming to have intercepted over a thousand unmanned aerial vehicles, aerial bombs, and two new-model long-range missiles during the massive attack on May 17.
