The Baltic states have lodged a protest with Russia over the spread of disinformation

Diplomats from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia visited the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and issued a joint protest against the false information being spread by the Russian foreign ministry. The chargé d’affaires of the Baltic states’ embassies in Moscow lodged a diplomatic protest, firmly rejecting the false statements made by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Galuzin.

The representatives of the Baltic states once again emphasized that they had not opened their airspace for strikes against targets on Russian territory, confirming this position in a joint statement by their foreign ministers. At the same time, the diplomats stressed that the incursions of drones into the airspace of the Baltic states are a direct consequence of the war against Ukraine, and that claims of violations of the rule of law regarding residents are fabricated disinformation.

This was reported by European Truth, citing a statement from the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Russian propaganda launched yet another large-scale disinformation campaign following a massive combined strike on Ukraine on the night of June 15, which claimed the lives of civilians and destroyed the Assumption Cathedral at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

Russian propaganda outlets claimed to have captured the village of Ivolzhanske in the Sumy region. At the same time, the Ukrainian side refutes these claims, emphasizing that the information about these “successes” is fabricated and does not correspond to reality. This was reported on June 24 by the Communications Center of the “Kursk” military group, citing Ukrainian military sources.
