The Kremlin announced a pause in negotiations regarding the war against Ukraine

The peace talks aimed at ending the war between Ukraine and Russia are currently effectively suspended, with no active contacts taking place.

This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, the negotiations are on “hold,” and organizing a trilateral meeting is currently difficult due to the U.S. side’s busy schedule.

At the same time, Peskov noted that some contacts with the U.S. remain, and the parties continue to exchange information through existing channels.

The Kremlin is demanding that Kyiv make a decision as soon as possible to withdraw Ukrainian troops from the Donbas region.

The Kremlin has reacted to a possible initiative to introduce a “ceasefire” for Easter. Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that no clear proposal regarding an Easter truce has been received from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
