Nearly 190 clashes in the past 24 hours, with the heaviest fighting in the Pokrovsk sector
Over the past 24 hours, nearly 200 combat engagements were recorded along the front line, with the heaviest fighting continuing, as usual, in the Pokrovsk sector, where Russian forces are attempting to advance on several fronts simultaneously. Despite the massive attacks, Ukrainian troops are holding their positions and inflicting significant losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past 24 hours, 189 combat engagements took place along the front line; the Russian army carried out one missile strike and 62 airstrikes, dropped 170 guided bombs, deployed over 5,600 kamikaze drones, and conducted more than 2,200 artillery barrages, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk direction, where 40 attacks were recorded in the areas of Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka, Udachne, and a number of other settlements; it is there that Ukrainian units, according to preliminary data, killed 63 invaders, wounded another 12, and also struck enemy equipment, drone control centers, and nearly two hundred drones.
Active combat operations also continued in the Huliaipole, Kostiantynivka, Lyman, and Southern Slobozhanshchyna sectors, where Ukrainian forces repelled assaults, including 16 attacks in the Huliaipole sector and 11 in the Kostiantynivka sector.
The General Staff emphasizes that the Defense Forces continue to contain the offensive actions of Russian troops along the entire front line, systematically inflicting losses on them and destroying their ability to launch further attacks.
Meanwhile, a drone struck a building on Mosfilmovskaya Street in Moscow. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed the attack and reported that there were no casualties. At the same time, drones were also spotted over Samara.
As a reminder, in Tuapse, residents were urged to evacuate following a drone attack (video).
