Latvia’s MFA displays a banner in support of Ukraine
For the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia placed a banner in front of its building to support Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
This was reported by the country’s foreign ministry on Instagram.
“From now on, next to the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs there will be a reminder of our unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. In this way, we join the initiative of the Baltic countries in Ukraine, where similar banners have already been placed near the embassies of Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania in Kyiv,” the Latvian MFA stated.

As a reminder, the Latvian Government is considering the possibility of completely dismantling sections of the railway line leading to Russia. A final decision is expected at the beginning of 2026.
Latvia will allocate funds to support Ukrainian refugees in 2026.
