Two men killed in Dnipropetrovsk region due to Russian attacks

In Dnipropetrovsk region, two men were killed and two women injured as a result of Russian attacks on the morning of March 2, the Dnipropetrovsk police reported.

In Synelnykove district, Russian forces struck the village of the Pokrovska community with guided aerial bombs in the morning. According to updated information, a police officer from Police Department No. 5 of Synelnykove District died under the rubble of a destroyed private house. Another house was completely destroyed, and four more were damaged.

Additionally, the enemy attacked the Malomyhailivska community with an FPV drone. A 66-year-old man riding a moped sustained injuries to his arms and legs and later died from his wounds.

In Nikopol district, around 07:30, a drone hit a private residence in one of the villages of the Myrivska community. Two women, aged 40 and 42, suffered shrapnel injuries and were hospitalized.

According to the police, over the past day, Russia carried out more than 90 strikes on settlements in Nikopol district. In addition to FPV drones, artillery and multiple rocket launchers were used. Areas under fire included Nikopol, Marhanets, and villages in the Marhanetska and Pokrovska communities. Civilian vehicles, multi-story buildings, private homes, and outbuildings were damaged.

In Kryvyi Rih district, drone attacks were recorded in the Zelendolivska and Karpivska communities, as well as in Kryvyi Rih and Apostolove. The facade of a building and two enterprises were damaged, but there are no reported casualties so far.

For reference, Russian forces recently attacked a car in Sumy region, killing two people. 

Russian drones also struck the center of Novhorod-Siverskyi, injuring three.
