Four people have been killed and more than 20 wounded in Kyiv following an attack by Russia

At least four people were killed in a nighttime missile strike by Russian forces on Kyiv. Another 21 people were injured.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service on Telegram

Rescue workers documented damage in several districts of the capital—Podil, Obolon, Shevchenkivskyi, and Desnianskyi.

In the Obolonskyi district, parked cars caught fire, and a warehouse, a tire repair shop, and a store were damaged. Two people were killed. Among the six injured were ambulance and police personnel who arrived at the scene after the strike.

In the Podilskyi district, a strike hit an open area at one location, damaging the facades of residential buildings. Two people were found dead under the rubble, including a 12-year-old child. Several others were injured by flying glass shards.

In other parts of the district, damage to hotels and residential buildings was reported, and there are casualties. Rescuers also pulled two people, including a child, from under the rubble.

In addition, a high-rise building was hit—10 residents were evacuated, and there were no casualties.

In the Desnianskyi district, a two-story residential building caught fire as a result of shelling. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, strikes were recorded at a playground and near a residential building. There were no casualties.

Rescue workers and all necessary services are on the scene. Information regarding the consequences of the attack is being clarified.

Earlier, Russian troops attacked the Bila Tserkva district of the Kyiv region, resulting in a fire at one of the enterprises.

In Zaporizhzhia, a woman was killed and a massive fire broke out due to a Russian attack.

On the evening of April 14, Russian troops struck the Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs; four hits were recorded in the Malodanilivska community. Civilian infrastructure and vehicles were damaged, and there are casualties among local residents. Medical personnel are providing assistance to the injured. 

Russian troops also attacked an industrial facility in Zaporizhzhia that evening. A fire broke out at the site, and explosions were heard in various parts of the city. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov stated that anti-drone nets cannot protect the city from the main threats—suicide drones, guided aerial bombs, and ballistic missiles.
