Russian drones attacked the centre of Novhorod-Siverskyi, injuring three people

 On the evening of 26 February, Russian occupation forces struck the central part of Novhorod-Siverskyi in Chernihiv region with unmanned aerial vehicles.

As a result of the attack, three local residents were injured, and the city’s civilian infrastructure suffered significant damage.

According to the head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District Military Administration, Oleksandr Seliverstov, around 21:20 two strike drones hit the city centre.

Significant damage was reported to the administrative building of the local employment centre and a grocery store. Nearby residential buildings, including both apartment blocks and private homes, were also affected.

As of the morning of 27 February, three people were officially confirmed injured. Windows were shattered, doors damaged, and facades scored by debris in homes located at the blast sites.

Emergency services and law enforcement immediately began operations at the strike locations, documenting yet another crime by the aggressor country against civilians.

Earlier, Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones and missiles, injuring 10 people.

Occupying forces also targeted industrial facilities and residential areas in Poltava region.
