A 59-year-old woman was injured in the Chernihiv region as a result of Russian attacks

A 59-year-old woman was injured as a result of two Russian attacks on the Koryukivka District in Chernihiv Oblast. Emergency services are on the scene, and the circumstances and consequences of the strikes are being determined.

 

According to rescue workers, two farm buildings caught fire after drones crashed. A truck crane and a combine harvester were also damaged.

“A 59-year-old woman was injured as a result of the Russian attacks. The enemy attacked the Koryukivka district twice; two farm buildings caught fire due to falling UAVs, a truck-mounted crane and a combine harvester were damaged, and a warehouse building and several metric tons of roughage were destroyed,” according to a statement from the State Emergency Service.

Over the course of August 17, Russian troops attacked 59 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, killing two people and wounding four others. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the Russian strikes.

As a reminder, air defense systems were activated in the Kyiv region due to a Russian attack.

Earlier, Ukraine officially classified the long-range “Dovbush T40” unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

As a reminder, the Russian oil refinery “Orsknefteorgsintez” halted oil processing following an attack by Ukrainian drones on August 11.
