In the Donetsk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed Russian command posts with missiles
The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck key military targets of the Russian occupiers in the Donetsk area. The enemy’s primary and backup command posts were hit by air-launched missiles.
On August 26 and during the night of August 27, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of key enemy targets.
In particular, in the Donetsk area, air-launched missiles struck the main and backup command posts of the Russian occupation forces.
Additionally, in the Chongar area of the Kherson region, an enemy repair and restoration unit was struck by other means.
In addition, a drone control center was struck in Olenivka in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.
The Ukrainian military also carried out strikes on areas where occupying forces were concentrated near Novopetrivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Voskhod in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The General Staff noted that the extent of the damage inflicted and the losses sustained by Russian troops are currently being assessed.
Based on the results of additional data analysis, the Ukrainian military also determined the consequences of the August 25 strike on the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai.
The following damage has been confirmed:
- the ELOU AT processing unit;
- the gas fractionation unit;
- a section of the pipeline.
Thus, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to strike command posts, UAV control centers, repair units, Russian troop concentrations, and Russian fuel infrastructure facilities.

Since the start of the day, 189 combat engagements have been recorded on the front lines. Russian troops deployed 7,192 drones and dropped 197 guided aerial bombs. The occupiers are attacking most actively in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors.
The General Staff is discussing a change to the mobilization age: who this might affect.
Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated that the Kremlin currently has no plans to declare mobilization after the fall elections. At the same time, he called for waiting until the end of the electoral process, hinting that the situation could change.
In Russia, authorities plan to impose fines for failure to comply with decisions made by regional leaders and operational headquarters regarding mobilization and meeting the army’s needs. The Russian government has submitted a corresponding bill to the State Duma for consideration.
The General Staff confirmed a strike on the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in Russia.
