146 clashes on the front line, heaviest attacks in the Pokrovsk direction
Ukraine’s Defence Forces repelled 146 combat engagements with the enemy over the past day. The most intense fighting was in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian forces carried out 28 assault attempts on Ukrainian positions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
Russian forces conducted 58 air strikes, dropping 163 guided bombs, deployed 5,285 kamikaze drones, and carried out 2,856 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements.
“Since the beginning of the day, we have repelled 28 assault actions in the Pokrovsk direction,” the military said.
In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks. The enemy carried out five air strikes and 94 shelling attacks, including 13 using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces launched six assaults near Vovchanski Khutory, Vovchansk, and other settlements.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy made 18 attempts to advance near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Illinivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, preliminary data indicates: 87 Russian troops killed, 28 wounded, heavy equipment and dozens of drones destroyed.
In other areas, Russian forces also carried out attacks:
Huliaipole direction: 19 attempts, with air strikes on settlements including Hirke and Huliaipilske
Orikhiv and Prydniprovske directions: one clash each
Lyman and Kramatorsk directions: no active attacks reported
“The enemy is attempting to advance, but our troops are holding their positions firmly and continue to inflict significant losses,” the General Staff added.
Additionally, Russian forces struck Sloviansk with high-explosive bombs.
More than 200 combat engagements per day are currently taking place along the front line.
