There were 222 clashes with the occupying forces on the front lines
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 76 airstrikes, during which they dropped 237 guided bombs. In addition, the occupiers deployed 10,027 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,011 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
In the Sumy region, the towns of Korenok, Ulanove, Vintorivka, Yastrubshchyna, and Seredina-Buda came under artillery fire. The enemy carried out airstrikes on the Velyka Chernechchyna and Tovstodubove districts.
Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ air force, missile forces, and artillery struck 14 areas where Russian troops were concentrated and two drone command posts.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian forces repelled four enemy attacks. The Russians also carried out three airstrikes using four guided bombs and conducted 68 artillery attacks.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 15 attacks. Russian troops attempted to advance in the areas of Starytsia and Lyman, as well as in the directions of Khatne and Kolodyazne.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders once in the direction of Zagrizove.
In the Lyman sector, the occupiers attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 10 times. Fighting took place near Zarichne, as well as in the directions of Novoselivka, Shyikivka, and Drobysheve.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out 17 assault operations. The Russians attacked in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakytne, and Riznykivka, as well as in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupiers launched two attacks in the directions of Nykyforivka and Yurkivka.
The situation remained most tense in the Kostiantynivka sector, where the enemy carried out 29 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopillia, as well as in the directions of Rusyno Yar and Stepanivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 attacks by Russian forces.
Fighting took place in the areas of Rodynske and Serhiivka, as well as in the directions of Novyi Donbas, Hannivka, Shevchenko, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Myrne, Udachne, and Muravka.
On the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces carried out seven attacks in the directions of Kalynivske, Vorone, Ternove, and Berezove.
On the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers attacked the Defense Forces’ positions 12 times. The enemy attempted to advance toward Vozdvizhivka, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Danilivka, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy attempt to advance toward Pavlivka.
Meanwhile, in the Dnipro sector, Russian troops did not conduct any assault operations over the past 24 hours.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.

As a reminder, the Russians deliberately struck a passenger train in the Odesa region with a Shahed drone, resulting in fatalities.
The State Emergency Service and the Odesa Regional Military Administration released photographs of the locomotive damaged by the Russian attack. The images show the condition of the train following the strike.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian forces struck a passenger train in the Odesa region. According to him, there were 340 passengers on board at the time of the attack, and the train engineer and his assistant were killed.
