Russians struck a combine harvester with a drone in the Zaporizhzhia region

In the Zaporizhzhia region, a Russian FPV drone attacked a combine harvester that was working in a field. Two men who were helping with the harvest were injured.

 

According to the Regional Military Administration, Russian forces struck agricultural equipment operating in a field during the harvest with an FPV drone. Two farmers were injured in the attack. They are men aged 30 and 32. “Russia is attacking farmers: two people were injured in an attack on a combine harvester working in a field,” the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported.

The injured are receiving the necessary medical care. No further details regarding their condition have been reported at this time. The attack occurred during the harvest. Russian troops regularly use FPV drones to strike civilian infrastructure, transportation, and agricultural machinery in frontline areas.

This time, a combine harvester operating directly in the field was struck. People performing agricultural work were injured as a result of the attack. The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported the attack.

In Zaporizhzhia, on the night of August 15, Russian drones caused two fires. Firefighters extinguished the blazes at a shopping center and a warehouse; no one was injured.

Russian forces carried out 971 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. Forty-two settlements came under fire, and two people were wounded as a result of attacks on the Zaporizhzhia district. There were also 44 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
