There were 180 clashes on the front lines over the past 24 hours: the fiercest fighting is ongoing in two sectors

Since the start of the day, 180 combat engagements have been recorded on the front lines between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops. The situation remains most tense in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is in these sectors of the front that Russian troops are carrying out the most intense attacks in an attempt to break through Ukrainian defenses.

Enemy shelling

The aggressor launched one missile strike, fired two missiles, carried out 54 airstrikes using 164 guided aerial bombs, deployed 6,222 kamikaze drones for strikes, and carried out 2,272 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas. 

Situation in the North

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, since the start of the day, the enemy has carried out 66 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, including two using multiple-launch rocket systems.

Fighting in the Kharkiv Region

Over the past 24 hours, in the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched six assaults on our units’ positions toward the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Petro-Ivanivka, Aniskine, Ivashkine, and Symynivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched three attacks toward Bohuslavka, Kupiansk, and Petropavlivka. 

Fighting in the East

Twelve attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman sector toward Drobysheve, Ozernoye, Stavok, Lyman, and in the Novoselivka area.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces successfully halted 19 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas around the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakytne, Riznykivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Piskunivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian invaders carried out three attacks toward Malynivka and in the Pryvillia area.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 22 enemy assaults in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopillia, as well as toward Stepanivka, Toretsk, Vilne, and Novyi Shakhovyi. One engagement is still ongoing. 

The enemy carried out 21 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas around the settlements of Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, and Molodetske, as well as toward the settlements of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novyi Donbas, and Serhiivka.

According to preliminary estimates, 27 occupiers were killed and 15 wounded here today; one artillery system, 25 personnel shelters, six vehicles, and two pieces of specialized equipment were destroyed. Twelve artillery systems, four vehicles, and 131 enemy personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 296 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched two attacks toward Oleksandrohrad and in the Solodke area.

Situation in the South

  • In the Hulyaypil sector, the Defense Forces repelled 10 enemy attacks toward the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtseve, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne. One engagement is still ongoing.

  • In the Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.

In other sectors, there were no significant changes in the situation.

Russia carried out 57 attacks along the front line, with the heaviest fighting occurring in three sectors.

As a reminder, a man was killed in Kherson by the explosion of a “Pelyustka” anti-personnel mine.

The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) has identified those responsible for the shelling of the ATB supermarket in Chernihiv.
