Over the past 24 hours, 230 skirmishes took place on the front lines, with the heaviest fighting occurring near Pokrovsk

Over the past day, 230 combat engagements took place on the front lines between Ukrainian forces and Russian occupiers. The enemy launched the most attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 37 assaults.

Russian troops also actively employed aircraft, artillery, and kamikaze drones in an attempt to put pressure on Ukrainian positions.

 

Over the past day, Ukrainian forces repelled 230 combat engagements with Russian troops. The highest number of attacks occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Russian army attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 37 times. In total, Russian forces launched two missile strikes using five missiles, carried out 85 airstrikes, and dropped 275 guided bombs.

In addition, the enemy deployed 9,846 kamikaze drones and carried out more than 3,400 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas. Among these, 48 strikes were delivered using multiple launch rocket systems.

Where the Heaviest Fighting Took Place

The Pokrovsk sector remains the hottest spot on the front line. Ukrainian defenders repelled 37 attacks by the Russian army in the areas of Dorozhne, Udachne, Nikanorivka, Kotlyne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, as well as in the direction of a number of other settlements.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Russians launched 23 offensive attempts. Fighting took place near Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka, as well as in the direction of Mykolaivka, Piskunivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy launched 21 attacks. Russian forces attempted to advance near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and toward other settlements.

The Lyman sector also remained active, with 16 attacks recorded, as did the Huliaipole sector, where 13 Russian offensive attempts were recorded.

The situation in other sectors

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 10 times near Staritsa and in the direction of Ivashkino, Kolodyazne, Ternova, and Izbytske.

In the Kupiansk sector, the Russian Armed Forces carried out five attacks toward Kupiansk, Radkivka, and Shyikivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces carried out one attack in the area of Fedorivka Druha.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, two attempted advances were recorded—toward Berezove and near Novohryhorivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Mali Shcherbakiv and Shcherbakiv.

Meanwhile, in the Dnipro sector, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations.

Ukrainian forces launched retaliatory strikes

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian missile forces and artillery struck seven drone command posts, five areas where Russian troops were concentrated, and six command posts of the Russian Armed Forces.

It is also reported that no signs of Russian troops forming offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors. Defense forces continue to repel attacks by the Russian army and hold their positions across all sectors of the front. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost another 1,330 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. Defense forces also destroyed dozens of enemy vehicles, including artillery systems, air defense systems, and drones.

On the night of July 25, Russian forces launched more than 150 air targets at Ukraine. Air defense forces destroyed and intercepted one X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missile and 127 drones of various types.
