Russians attacked the Kherson region; 15 people were injured over the past 24 hours
In the Kherson region, 15 civilians were injured over the past day as a result of Russian attacks. Russian forces struck settlements in the region with drones and artillery, damaging residential buildings and vehicles.
Over the past day, 15 civilians were wounded as a result of Russian shelling in the Kherson region. This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration. “Fifteen people were wounded as a result of Russian aggression,” he wrote.
According to Prokudin, the region came under attack from enemy drones and artillery throughout the day. Kherson and dozens of settlements in the region were targeted. Among them were Beryslav, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Novoraysk, Urozhayne, Myrolyubivka, Lymants, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Blahovishchenske, Ponyativka, Sadove, Komyshany, Kizomys, Mykilske, Kostyrka, Bilyayivka, Burgunka, Dniprovske, Zolota Balka, Mykolaivka, Novotyahynka, Osokorivka, Respublika, Tokarivka, Tyahynka, and other communities.
Damaged Buildings and Vehicles
Three high-rise buildings and ten private homes were damaged in the region as a result of Russian strikes. A private garage and local residents’ cars were also damaged. The Kherson Regional Military Administration noted that the full extent of the damage from the shelling is still being assessed.
People continue to be evacuated
Despite constant attacks by Russian forces, the evacuation of residents from dangerous areas of the region continues. Over the past 24 hours, another 26 people were successfully evacuated from liberated communities in the Kherson region. Local authorities are urging residents of areas that are regularly coming under fire not to neglect their safety and, if possible, to move to safer locations. This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on Telegram.
An explosion was heard in Sumy while an air raid alert was in effect in the region. At this time, there is no official information regarding the cause of the explosion or its possible consequences. The air raid alert was declared in the region due to the threat of Russian strikes.
