The Russians launched more than a thousand strikes against Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region in a single day

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has launched more than 1,000 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region. Ten people were injured as a result of the attacks on Zaporizhzhia, and residential buildings, infrastructure, and vehicles were damaged. In total, 48 settlements in the region came under fire.

 

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian military carried out 1,067 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region. Ten people were wounded in Zaporizhzhia as a result of the enemy attacks. This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

“Ten people were wounded as a result of enemy strikes on Zaporizhzhia,” he wrote. According to Fedorov, Russian troops struck 48 settlements in the region. The enemy used aircraft, drones, and artillery.

How the region was attacked

The Russian army carried out 25 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia and a number of settlements in the region. Among them were Bilenke, Tavriiske, Barvinivka, Zirnytsia, Shyroke, Blakytne, Tymoshivka, Veselyanka, Sorochyne, Preobrazhenka, and other communities. Most of the attacks were carried out by drones. Over the past 24 hours, 780 strikes by various types of UAVs, primarily FPV drones, were recorded.

The following areas came under drone attack: Zaporizhzhia, Komyshuvakha, Richne, Novozaporizhzhia, Ternuvate, Veselyanka, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Orikhiv, Mali Shcherbaky, and dozens of other settlements.

In addition, Russian troops carried out 262 artillery strikes. Richne, Veselyanka, Hryhorivka, Novoyakovlivka, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Orikhiv, Bilohirya, Hulyaypilsk, and other villages and towns came under fire.

Homes and infrastructure have been damaged

As a result of the Russian attacks, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration received 117 reports of damage. This includes residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, vehicles, and farm buildings.

All necessary services continue to operate in the region and are working to address the consequences of the Russian strikes. Authorities are urging residents to remain in shelters during air raid alerts, as the enemy continues to shell settlements in the region. This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.

In the Kherson region, 15 civilians were injured over the past day as a result of Russian attacks. Russian forces struck settlements in the region with drones and artillery, damaging residential buildings and vehicles.

An explosion was heard in Sumy while an air raid alert was in effect in the region. There is currently no official information regarding the cause of the explosion or its possible consequences. The air raid alert in the region was declared due to the threat of Russian strikes.
