106 combat clashes recorded on the front line in 24 hours
As of 04:00 p.m. on Friday, 5 December, 106 combat clashes took place on the front line, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Russian occupiers carried out two air strikes and 105 shellings of Ukrainian troops' positions and settlements, including two with multiple launch rocket systems. The communities of Studenok, Malushine, Bunyakine, Kucherivka, Simeykine, Shalyhine, Bachivsk, and Zalizny Most were affected.
In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 enemy attacks: eight in the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction and five in the Kupianskyi direction. Isolated clashes continue in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, and Hlushevka.
In the east, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled attacks in the Lyman (15 attempts), Sloviansk (7 attacks), Kramatorsk (2 attacks), Kostyantynivka (22 assaults) and Pokrovsk (28 attempts) directions. In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attacks, with four more ongoing.
Seven combat clashes were recorded in the south: four in the Huliaipole direction and three in the Prydniprovsk direction, with one battle still ongoing. No clashes were recorded in the Orikhiv direction.
The defence forces continue to successfully repel enemy attacks in all directions.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also drove the enemy out of the northern outskirts of Kupiansk.
