The Armed Forces of Ukraine have pushed the enemy to the northern outskirts of Kupiansk

Ukrainian forces have already pushed the enemy to the northern outskirts of Kupiansk and formed an effective ‘ring zone’ around the city, making it impossible for Russian units to move in, but Russian propaganda continues to claim that it has been ‘captured’.

This was stated on television by the head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Viktor Tregubov.

Tregubov noted that the Russian command tried to present the situation as a ‘victory story’ and in early November even made statements about the alleged capture of the city, but ‘this did not correspond to reality.’

Ukrainian troops managed to push the Russians into the northern areas, cut off their supplies and systematically destroy enemy units. Just when Moscow was announcing ‘successes,’ a trap was being set for the Russians on the battlefield.

Tregubov stressed that the enemy is unable to effectively transfer reinforcements to Kupiansk: ‘We have managed to create a cordon around the city quite effectively and destroy those who try to creep in with the help of UAVs.’

Regarding the situation in Vovchansk, he reported that the city is practically destroyed. Russian troops control a significant part of it, while Ukrainian units hold the southern part.
