Russia has lost another 1,010 troops and four multiple-launch rocket systems in the war against Ukraine
Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine—from February 24, 2022, through April 2026—amount to approximately 1,313,970 personnel. Over the past 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,010 invaders.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
According to updated information, the Russian army’s losses in equipment are as follows:
- tanks — 11,864 (+1 in the past 24 hours);
- armored combat vehicles — 24,390 (+1);
- artillery systems — 40,003 (+50);
- multiple launch rocket systems — 1,736 (+4);
- air defense systems — 1,346 (+0);
- aircraft — 435 (+0);
- helicopters — 350 (+0);
- tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles — 239,241 (+1,388);
- cruise missiles — 4,517 (+0);
- ships and boats — 33 (+0);
- submarines — 2 (+0);
- vehicles and tankers — 89,553 (+253);
- special equipment — 4,125 (+2).
The General Staff notes that the data is being updated.
On April 14, there were 184 combat engagements on the front line, with the highest number occurring in the Pokrovsk direction. Russian forces actively employed aircraft, drones, and artillery in an attempt to apply pressure across the entire line of contact. Ukrainian defense forces are repelling the attacks and wearing down the enemy.
Ukrainian military personnel are also changing their approach to using Patriot systems due to a shortage of missiles. Instead of launching several interceptors at a single target, they now often launch just one.
DeepState analysts report an expansion of the Russian “gray zone” along the border in the Sumy region, which, according to their estimates, already covers about 150 square kilometers.
