72 combat clashes recorded on the front line over the past day
Since the start of the day, 72 combat clashes have been recorded along the front line, with Russian occupying forces exerting the greatest pressure on the Pokrovsk direction.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
Russian forces shelled the settlements of Kucherivka, Bachivsk, Volfyne, Sukhodil and Bezsalivka in Sumy region. In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 88 shelling attacks, eight of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, three attacks took place near Prylipky and Dehtiarnе, with one battle still ongoing. In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted twice to push Ukrainian troops towards Petropavlivka and Pishchane.
In the Lyman direction, four combat engagements occurred near Kolodiazi, Lypove and Stavky. In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy launched two attacks near Dronivka and Fedorivka. In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks near Stupochky and towards Pryvillia.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the Defence Forces stopped ten enemy attacks near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Berestok, Yablunivka and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops attempted to advance 28 times near Shakhove, Fedorivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Kotlyne, Filiia and Novopavlivka. Ukrainian defenders repelled 26 attacks, while two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, defenders repelled five enemy attacks near Rybne, Yehorivka and Solodke. In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight attacks near Huliaipole and towards Dobropillia, with four engagements still continuing.
No offensive actions by the enemy were recorded in the Orikhiv direction. In the Dnipro River direction, the invaders made one unsuccessful attempt to improve their position near the Antonivskyi Bridge. No significant changes were reported in other directions.
