A total of 197 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines; the largest number of attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsk sector
Over the past 24 hours, 197 combat engagements took place along the front lines. The Pokrovsk sector remains the most active, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 23 attacks by Russian troops, and the enemy lost more than 50 occupiers.
“In total, 197 combat engagements have taken place since the start of this 24-hour period. The enemy carried out 50 airstrikes and dropped 168 guided bombs. In addition, it deployed 6,137 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,930 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions,” the statement notes.
According to the General Staff, no enemy offensive activity was observed in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors.
Over the past 24 hours in the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched seven assaults on the positions of our units near Kozacha Lopana, Lyman, Symynivka, Rybalchyne, and Zarubinka; two more firefights are still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy assault in the Kivsharivka area.
In the Lyman sector, our defenders successfully repelled two attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of Shyikivka, Novoselivka, and Derylove; another engagement is still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces halted three attempts by the invaders to advance near Ozernoye, Mykolaivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
One enemy assault was recorded in the Kramatorsk sector near Fedorivka Druha.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 14 enemy assaults in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka, Dovha Balka, Rozkishne, and Novopavlivka; another firefight is ongoing.
A total of 23 attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of the settlements of Toretsk, Sofiivka, Dobropillia, Novy Donbas, Vilne, Bilytske, Hannivka, Krasnopodillia, Vodyanske, Dorozhne, Vasylivka, Myrne, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka. Three firefights are ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 40 occupiers were killed and 14 wounded here today; two vehicles, two pieces of specialized equipment, one unmanned aerial vehicle command post, and 55 enemy shelters were destroyed. Two vehicles, six artillery systems, two pieces of specialized equipment, seven UAV control centers, and 178 enemy strongholds were damaged. A total of 103 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the occupiers did not carry out any active operations.
Ten attacks by the occupiers were recorded in the Hulyaypil sector near the settlements of Rizdvyanka, Ternuvate, and Kopani.
In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks near Pavlivka.
There were no enemy assaults in the Prydniprovsk direction.
In other sectors, there were no significant changes in the situation.
