Lazaryev, a junior sergeant, fought in some of the most intense battles for Kyiv, participated in the liberation of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, and served on the most challenging sectors of the Luhansk and Donetsk fronts. He ended his combat career as a platoon commander in the interceptor drone company of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment.

He was a founding member of the Belarusian volunteer movement in Ukraine, devoted to resisting both the Lukashenko regime and Russian aggression, believing that Ukraine’s freedom would secure Belarus’s future independence. In recent operations, he specialized in interceptor drones, completing extremely difficult missions in hot combat zones, where he ultimately fell in battle.

Lazaryev’s sacrifice has become a symbol of brotherhood between the Ukrainian and free Belarusian peoples, standing together against Moscow’s imperial ambitions. While Russia attempts to draw the Belarusian army into open warfare, volunteers like “Vuzh” demonstrate a commitment to democracy and solidarity. His memory will remain a lasting part of the liberation struggle of both nations.
