Denis Kuksa, an aide to Maryana Bezuhla, was killed on the front lines
Denis Kuksa, an assistant and advisor to People’s Deputy Mariana Bezugla and her colleague in the Obolon District of Kyiv, was killed on the front lines.
According to the MP, Denis Kuksa went to war after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Prior to that, he had served as chairman of the board of his building’s homeowners’ association and became the first chairman of the Obolon District Homeowners’ Association.
Bezugla noted that Kuksa helped her and her team better navigate the workings of homeowners’ associations and provided ongoing advice.
“He helped me, my team, and Regional State Administration Head Kyrylo Fesyk navigate the world of homeowners’ associations and consistently provided advice. He was principled, persistent, and meticulous. A kind-hearted person with a strong sense of duty,” the MP wrote.
Denis Kuksa is survived by his wife, two young children, and his mother.

Also killed on the front lines while defending Ukraine was Vitaliy Shtefan, a soldier with the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Magura” and a historian.
As a reminder, on August 14, it was confirmed that 42-year-old soldier, freestyle wrestling coach, and Master of Sports of Ukraine Kostyantyn Solomakin—who had long been considered missing in action—had been killed. He died on May 26, 2025, in the Donetsk region, and his identity was confirmed following the exhumation and identification of his body.
Earlier, Oleksiy Yukov, the head of the “Platsdarm” search and rescue team from Sloviansk, was killed.
Prior to that, arm-wrestling champion Ihor Hladkyi was killed on the front lines.
Dmytro Gladirenko, a saxophonist from Chernihiv, was killed on the front lines.
