Border guards destroyed a Russian assault team in the Kharkiv region
Ukrainian border guards repelled yet another assault attempt in the Kharkiv region. A Russian group of 18 soldiers was detected before it could approach Ukrainian positions and was subsequently eliminated.
Soldiers from the Rapid Response Command of the 4th Border Guard Detachment repelled yet another attack by Russian troops in the Kharkiv region. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The battle took place near the village of Artilne in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction. According to border guards, the Russian command dispatched a group of 18 soldiers to carry out the assault.
Ukrainian defenders detected the enemy’s movement in advance. Thanks to intelligence and the coordinated efforts of the units, the advance was halted before the occupiers reached Ukrainian positions.
The State Border Guard Service noted that the assault group was detected and eliminated on the outskirts of the village. “This time, the target was a Russian assault group consisting of 18 soldiers in the village of Artilne in the Kharkiv region,” the border guards reported.
The agency also emphasized that units of the Rapid Response Command of the 4th Border Guard Detachment, operating as part of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, continue to systematically repel Russian attacks in this sector. “The attempt to advance was detected and repelled before it even reached the front lines,” the State Border Guard Service added.
In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops regularly attempt small-scale assaults using infantry groups. Thanks to intelligence, drones, and firepower, Ukrainian forces are working to neutralize such groups before they reach the front lines.
The State Border Guard Service emphasizes that Defense Forces units continue to control the situation in the South Slobozhanskyi sector and are inflicting losses on the enemy, preventing it from advancing. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.
As a reminder, Russian drones attacked the Chernihiv region, damaging a gas station and a resort.
The WOG gas station chain in Kyiv and the Kyiv region will temporarily suspend nighttime operations due to the increased risk of enemy shelling.
