In the Kherson region, a Russian airstrike damaged a school, a church, and homes
In the Muzykovsk community in the Kherson region, civilian infrastructure sustained significant damage as a result of a Russian airstrike. In particular, a school, a local church, and residential buildings were damaged.
“A direct hit struck the local school. One of the school buildings literally ‘collapsed.’ Most of the windows in the building were shattered, classrooms were destroyed, the roof was crushed, and the walls and floors were damaged,” Prokudin reported.
He noted that private homes, one of the churches, and passenger cars were also hit by the Russians.
The head of the Regional Military Administration added that two women—aged 40 and 78—were injured in the airstrike. They are receiving all necessary medical care.
Prokudin reported that in Zelenivka, about a dozen residential buildings and a community center were damaged as a result of the Russian airstrike.
According to him, in about half an hour, the invaders dropped seven guided bombs on the village, causing significant damage to civilian infrastructure.
Fires broke out in some homes. Despite the threat of further strikes, rescue workers quickly extinguished the blazes.
The official clarified that the 11- and 17-year-old sisters, near whose home one of the bombs exploded, are in moderate condition. They remain in the hospital under medical supervision.
