In the Kherson region, the Russian "Rubicon" is hunting down civilians

In the Kherson region, the Russian "Rubicon" is hunting down civilians

In the coastal area of the Beryslav District in the Kherson Region, the Russian unit “Rubicon” is using civilians as targets for drone operator training. A local farmer reported this on July 2.

Viktor Gordienko, head of the Association of Farmers and Private Homeowners of the Kherson region and owner of a farming enterprise, spoke about this.

“Why is life so hard for us here in the Beryslav District? Because right across the Dnipro River, in occupied Kakhovka, there’s a drone operator training school run by the Russian unit ‘Rubicon.’ And there, they’re training operators for all their units. In other words, they practice everything on us, here in the Beryslav district, and then send those trained on civilians to fight across the entire front,” the farmer said.

According to him, civilians are living targets for the Russians, whom they use to train their drone operators, Ukrinform reports.

On the night of July 1, Russian troops carried out a massive attack with strike drones on the Dnipropetrovsk region.

As a reminder, on the evening of June 30, Russian troops attacked an electric locomotive in the Dnipropetrovsk region with a drone. There were no casualties, as the locomotive crew was warned of the danger in time, and the workers managed to take cover.

Ukrainian drones struck eight of the ten largest Russian oil refineries by processing volume, with some facilities being hit multiple times.
