One person was killed and 20 others were wounded in enemy shelling in the Kherson region
Russian forces continue to launch massive attacks on the Kherson region. Over the past 24 hours, one person was killed and 20 others were wounded in the region. Kherson and more than three dozen other settlements came under fire. This was reported on Telegram by Alexander Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Over the past day, the Kherson region was again subjected to heavy Russian attacks. The enemy used drones, artillery, and aircraft to shell both Kherson itself and other settlements in the region.
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the strikes. “One person was killed and 20 others were wounded as a result of Russian aggression,” he wrote on Telegram.
According to Prokudin, 32 settlements in the region were under attack. Russian troops struck residential neighborhoods, social infrastructure, and civilian facilities.
At least eight private homes were damaged as a result of the shelling. The Russians also damaged a church and several private vehicles. Local authorities note that the situation in the region remains tense. Due to constant attacks, people are forced to live under the threat of new strikes practically every day. Emergency services, medical personnel, and law enforcement officers are working at the sites of the shelling. They are assisting the victims and documenting the consequences of the latest attacks.
The Kherson region remains one of the areas most regularly shelled by the Russian army. Following the de-occupation of the right bank of the region, Russian troops continue to strike peaceful towns and villages from the temporarily occupied left bank of the Dnipro River.
Over the past day, 13 civilians were injured due to Russian attacks in the Sumy region. Dozens of settlements in the region came under fire, and Russian drones attacked civilian vehicles, homes, and farms.
