Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have wounded seven people in the Donetsk region

Over the past day, the Russian army again attacked settlements in the Donetsk region. As a result of the shelling, seven civilians in the region were wounded.

This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration. “On May 22, the Russians wounded seven residents of the Donetsk region,” he wrote on Telegram.

Exactly which settlements were targeted and the condition of the victims have not yet been officially specified. Filashkin also noted the total civilian casualties in Donetsk Oblast since the start of the full-scale war. According to official data, Russian troops have already killed 4,075 people in the region and wounded another 9,475.

However, these statistics do not include casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, where active hostilities and occupation have made it impossible to determine the full number of dead and wounded.

The Donetsk region remains one of the hottest spots on the front line. Russian troops regularly strike cities and villages with artillery, aircraft, and drones, putting civilians in constant danger.

Local authorities are once again urging people to evacuate from frontline areas, as the security situation remains extremely dire.

Russian troops continue to launch massive attacks on the Kherson region. Over the past day, one person was killed in the region, and another 20 were wounded. Kherson and more than three dozen other settlements came under fire.

Over the past day, 13 civilians were injured due to Russian attacks in the Sumy region. Dozens of settlements in the region came under fire, and Russian drones attacked civilian vehicles, homes, and farms.
