In the Lyman sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are disrupting the Russian Federation’s troop buildup
Russian troops continue to attempt to build up their forces in the Lyman sector, but Ukrainian drone operators are preventing them from carrying out these plans. The defenders are systematically destroying enemy personnel and equipment, preventing the occupiers from gaining a numerical advantage.
According to military sources, the occupiers continue to attempt to:
- deploy personnel to the front lines;
- to concentrate forces near the line of contact;
- increase their numerical superiority for further assault operations.
The brigade noted that the Mara unmanned systems battalion’s strike assets are effectively countering these intentions.
Operators regularly deploy FPV drones and strike drones equipped with bombs.
Thanks to their efforts, Russian units are suffering casualties even before reaching the front lines.
The 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade emphasizes that constant strikes on enemy concentrations prevent Russian troops from carrying out their plans to build up reserves and increase pressure on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Lyman direction.
