Russian troops launched a massive airstrike on Oleksandrivka in the Donetsk region

On the evening of July 2, Russian invaders dropped seven aerial bombs on the village of Oleksandrivka in Donetsk Oblast. According to Vadym Filashkin, head of the regional military administration, at least one person was killed as a result of the enemy attack, and two other local residents sustained injuries of varying severity.

The airstrike caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure: three private homes were completely destroyed. In addition, shock waves and debris damaged 56 private homes and two high-rise buildings, five administrative buildings, and a local store. All relevant and responsible services continue to work at the sites of the strikes, clearing up the aftermath of the shelling and assessing the full extent of the damage caused by the Russian attack.

As a result of a massive Russian strike on the capital, a rented humanitarian warehouse belonging to the Ukrainian Red Cross was completely destroyed; it had stored over 320,000 items of cargo and equipment with a total value of over 79 million hryvnias. 

As a result of the Russian shelling and a fire at one of the capital’s enterprises, fuel and lubricants flowed into Kyrylivskyi Lake in Kyiv through the storm sewer system.
