In the Odesa region, 10 people were injured in a Russian attack; two are in critical condition
Ten people were injured as a result of Russian attacks on the Odesa region overnight and this morning. Six of the wounded were hospitalized, and two of them are in serious condition.
This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.
“As of 12:00 p.m., ten people were injured as a result of nighttime and morning attacks on the Odesa region. Six of them have been hospitalized, and two are in critical condition,” Kipper said.
According to him, in the suburbs of Odesa, Russian drones were reported to have struck a private residential property and a garden cooperative.
Two residential buildings were damaged in the attack, and one person was injured.
“Two residential buildings were damaged. Unfortunately, one person was injured,” the head of the Regional Military Administration noted.
In addition, a small fire broke out on one of the sites. Information regarding the extent of the damage and the consequences of the attack is being clarified.
On the night of May 14, a Russian missile struck a high-rise building in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. Marina Gomenyuk, a 24-year-old English teacher, and her boyfriend, hockey player Yuriy Orlov, were killed.
Two employees of Nova Poshta were killed in the missile strike on Kyiv. One of them died alongside his wife. The company confirmed the losses and expressed its condolences to the families.
