On the night of May 15, Ukrainian drones attacked a military airfield in Yeisk, Russia, in the Krasnodar Krai.
This was reported by Russian and Ukrainian sources.
According to reports, a fire broke out on the facility’s grounds following the attack. Local residents reported explosions and the activation of Russian air defense systems.
Robert Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces with the call sign “Madyar,” stated that the strike damaged a Be-200 “Altair” amphibious aircraft and a Ka-27 naval helicopter.
There is currently no official confirmation of the extent of the damage from Russian authorities.
Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, in coordination with the Deep Strike Center, delivered a series of precision strikes on enemy positions. During the operation, a Beriev Be-200 Altairaircraft, a Kamov Ka-27helicopter,a Tor-M2air defense missile system, a Pantsir-S1air defense missile and gun system, as well as a ship carrying ammunition were destroyed.
