In the occupied Luhansk region, about 3,000 young people are being prepared for service in the Russian military
Over the past two years, approximately 3,000 teenagers and young adults have been trained for service in the Russian military in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast.
This was reported by Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration.
According to him, the training took place at the Luhansk branch of the Russian military center “Voín,” which operates in the occupied territory.
As Kharchenko noted, the training sessions for young people were conducted by individuals who had participated in the war against Ukraine and other armed conflicts involving Russia.
The teenagers were taught how to operate drones, engineering, and fire and tactical training.
The regional military administration emphasizes that such centers are part of a policy to militarize children and prepare youth in the occupied territories for service in the Russian Armed Forces.
Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence reported that in the Orikhiv area, Russian troops are wearing civilian clothing in an attempt to conceal their presence and evade strikes by the Defense Forces. The Main Intelligence Directorate emphasizes that such actions violate international law and pose an additional danger to civilians.
The occupiers are shelling Vovchansk in an attempt to capture the city and its outskirts, according to the "Forpost" brigade.
Ukrainian troops recently advanced in the Donetsk region. This refers to the area between Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka, where the Defense Forces were able to improve their positions.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost approximately 1,271,350 troops. In the last 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have eliminated another 950 occupiers.
