In the Sumy region, a young man was injured in a drone attack; another child is in critical condition

In the Bilopil community of Sumy Oblast, a 17-year-old boy was injured in a Russian drone attack and was taken to the hospital overnight.

This was reported by Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.

According to him, the teenager sustained shrapnel wounds, but doctors assess his condition as non-life-threatening. Doctors are providing the victim with all necessary care.

Meanwhile, another minor remains in the hospital—a 13-year-old boy who previously sustained serious injuries during another Russian attack.

His condition is currently assessed as stable but serious; the child underwent a complex operation, and doctors continue to fight for his recovery.

The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that the family of the 13-year-old boy had previously evacuated from the community, but on the day of the tragedy, they returned home to tend to their farm.

Today, May 13, at around 11:15 a.m., Russian occupiers carried out yet another terrorist attack against the civilian population of Kherson.

Russians have attacked the Chernihiv region with drones more than 50 times in the past 24 hours

On the border of the Chernihiv region, the scale of a forest fire caused by Russian shelling is rapidly increasing. Over the past 24 hours, the area of the fire has nearly doubled and currently stands at about 4,300 hectares.

As a reminder, a large-scale forest fire broke out in the Chernihiv region near the state border. The fire has engulfed thousands of hectares of forest, and preliminary data indicates that Russian shelling of border areas caused the blaze.
