Man injured in enemy drone attack in Sumy region

In the Sumy region, a 54-year-old man was injured during an attack by Russian drones, while another drone struck a civilian vehicle.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.

According to him, in the Stetskivka elder district a drone deliberately attacked a car in a private yard. The vehicle and outbuildings were damaged, but no people were injured.

Later, enemy drones struck the Putyvl community, as a result of which a 54-year-old man was wounded and is receiving medical assistance. Damage to residential buildings and хозяйственные structures was also recorded.

Earlier, Russian forces upgraded their Shahed drones to enable them to manoeuvre and evade Ukrainian interceptor drones.

The new Russian Shahed drones are reportedly guided during flight by artificial intelligence or controlled via Telegram in real time, connecting to Ukrainian internet and mobile communication networks.
